Master of Arts in Community Arts (MACA) candidates explored liberatory arts, theory and practice in their first group exhibition in the fall of 2010. These six graduate students addressed themes of community, relationships, creativity and whimsy in their work. Each artist is unique in her use of materials and process, bringing to the collective her own distinct response to the over-arching idea of "community art".
