After earning her BFA in Fiber from the Maryland Institute College Of Art (MICA) in 2007, Hannah Brancato became the artist-in-residence at the House Of Ruth Maryland. There, she is collaborating with community members on healing and public advocacy projects about domestic violence. Brancato also facilitates dating violence education workshops with youth, curates art shows in local venues, and participates in such city wide art events as Artscape, the Transmodern Festival, and Puss Fust. She is currently an MFA Community Arts candidate at MICA.
