Sarah J. Blosser is an artist, maker, creative problem solver, helper, nurturer of people, coffee lover, chocoholic, and occasional baker.  Originally from Goshen, Indiana, Sarah attributes the development of her creative abilities to her parent’s embodiment of a “Do It Yourself” way of life.  She received her BS in Psychology with a minor in Art at North Central College in 2003.   While working full-time in Residence Life at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, Sarah continued to explore her creative interests—working in clay and exploring various other media—as well as the relationship between creative pursuits and human well-being.

Sarah served as an AmeriCorps Community Art Collaborative Artist in Residence at Baltimore Clayworks from August 2010-July 2011 while pursuing her MA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art.  Her work focuses on the elevation and illumination of the creative process as an innate human ability and need.

Sarah recieved her MA in Community Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2011.  She currently resides in Crozet, VA with her husband, kiddo, and cat.
