I conducted a case study of the Art Leadership class I taught with Art On Purpose at the Baltimore Freedom Academy. The study investigated the outcomes of social justice based art curriculum. The study found that youth who participate in arts programing learn how to overcome obstacles and develop effect tools to articulate their experiences and emotions.
